Career Counseling

One on one counseling to help with adjustment to disability and identify career goal through interest and aptitude testing.

Job Preparation
Assist client to conduct a job search. Examples: produce master application and resume, practice interviewing, teach soft skills, identify and assist in proper hygiene, dress. Assist with pre-employment activities.

Job Placement

Direct the job search process on your behalf. Develop master application, resume, job search strategy, meet with you regularly, contact employers on your behalf by making direct employer contacts. Client participates in process at level of ability and demonstrates availability for work.

Job Retention

Assisting to maintain employment. Visits to job site observe and/or provide on the job training. Communicate with employer. Meet with you to assist in making adjustments as needed. Provide advocacy in establishing and assisting employer to implement accommodations as needed.

Assessment / Evaluation

Assist you to experience a community based work experience (cbwe). We contact employers to establish a job site that matches your interest and work goal. You will work for two weeks to a month. You are treated like an employee and will be evaluated as such. A report will be prepared based on self evaluation, employer evaluation and job coach evaluation. A CBWE can help to determine work readiness, identify work skills or barriers in a real work setting and establish a work reference.

Labor Market Research

Research labor market on a particular industry or job title. Individual contact of 10-20 employers in the specified industry.

PASS Plan Development/IRWE

We assist in writing and submitting pass plans. I provide benefits counseling to identify if these programs are applicable to your situation.

Small Business Development
Business plan reviews, write business plan, financial analysis and business feasibility analysis.
Case Management

Meeting with various parties to coordinate service activities, make referrals to appropriate services, provide advice and direction for client to access services needed.

Special Court Visitor

Third party visit assigned by court to report on client and advocate activities, including financial responsibility.
